Notes: A tunable FBG can be combined with a
circulator for various applications, including blocking specific laser lines
and transmitting other light signals. It can also be used as a tunable
add-drop filter in optical communication systems. If you wish to order a tunable FBG with
a built-in circulator, please take note of the following: (1) Circulators or isolators have an
operational wavelength window, and the isolation of these devices is
wavelength-dependent. An ordinary circulator typically has limited power
handling capability, usually ranging from 300mW to 500mW, depending on the
wavelength. (2) For high-power applications, it is
essential to choose a high-power circulator. Additionally, please be aware
that fiber connectors have limited power handling capability (typically less
than 1W), and for high-power situations, fusion-spliced fiber connections are
recommended. |
